Fill the tank to the line with water, add a cleaning tablet if you are using them, and set your appliance in so it is fully covered.

A transducer under the tank vibrates far faster than you can hear it, sending pressure waves out through the water in every direction at once. Every cycle pulls microscopic bubbles into being and then implodes them — that is cavitation, and it happens everywhere the water reaches, including the grooves, seams and textured areas bristles cannot get into.

What's wrong with just using a cleaning tablet?
Tablets work chemically. They need time to dissolve, and they only act where the solution actually reaches. Ultrasonic cleaning adds mechanical action: sound waves form and collapse microscopic bubbles against the surface, including the grooves and seams a still soak tends to miss. Most people get the best result using both together.
Can't I just use a toothbrush?
A brush handles flat, open surfaces well. It has a harder time with textured and recessed areas where buildup collects, and stiff bristles can scratch softer materials over time. Ultrasonic cleaning is contact-free, so nothing abrades the surface.
Will it damage my appliance?
The pod cleans without contact: no brushing, no scrubbing, no heat. It is the same principle used to clean eyewear and jewelry. Use it with water or the tablets made for it, and follow the care guidance from whoever made your appliance — if they advise against ultrasonic cleaning, follow their advice.
How do I skip, pause or cancel a tablet subscription?
